Few words
Plazma proudly presents Ophelia, a bold new EP crafted by longtime label artist 95 Fahrenheit in collaboration with Portuguese techno producer Mag Opusanne. This union of minds merges the raw minimalism of Mag with the melodic, atmospheric touch of 95 Fahrenheit, delivering a transportive quest through sound.
Built around themes of identity, emotion, and escape, Ophelia is a four-track exploration of darkness and introspection. Each track draws inspiration from the tragic figure of Ophelia in Shakespeare’s Hamlet — a symbol historically tied to psychological fragility and repressed desire. By reclaiming her narrative, the artists offer a powerful expression of sisterhood and defiance, finished fittingly on International Women’s Day.
Opening with “Ichó” (Echoes) the EP introduces ambient textures and spacious experimentation — a poignant prelude to what lies ahead. “Ýdor” (Water)” dives into turbulent energy, its driving percussion and gritty undercurrent echoing Ophelia’s final descent. “Skiá” (Shadow) strips things back into a hypnotic state, pulling listeners deeper into the recesses of her mind. The quest ends with “Moíra” (Destiny), a multilayered track that weaves threads from the entire EP into a chilling and cinematic close.
Ophelia is a moving, concept-driven release where mystery, rhythm, and raw emotion collide — a fitting tribute and a striking statement from two distinctive voices in techno.
