From a young age, Diego Ferreyra showed a keen interest in musical instruments. At just five years old, he began practicing on an organ keyboard, using it to replicate the sounds he heard. As he grew older, he attended numerous music schools, further honing his skills.

Diego played in several rock-gothic and industrial bands, performing across Argentina. During this period, he adopted the alter ego MRDIE.

After spending several years as MRDIE and being part of the Ice Machine project, Diego transitioned into a new phase as Die Ferrey. This new persona fuses minimal techno with industrial nuances, blending elements from his post-punk, new wave, and electropop roots.
