Biography

Arturo Jiménez a.k.a Mogo was born in 1989 in a small town in Mexico. At age 8, he entered the world of sounds and harmonies. After he experienced influences from the psychedelic ’70s, the music freedom expressed by David Gilmour, Roger Waters, Syd Barrett, the mechanical sounds of Kraftwerk, and the new era of new beats and synthesizers, all those things touched his soul and pointed the music way.

As he discovered electronic tools and started generating a strange mixture of natural and synthetic sounds, a musical character that is known as Mogo came into the daylight.

Since the early days of Plazma, our bond with Mogo has been robust. Notable collaborations include his debut EP, “Labyrinth of Drugs“, launched in 2014, and the comeback EP in 2023 titled “Osmosis“, featuring remixes by Hamandra and Damne.
