South Korean electronic musician Paul Yoon (Paul Bazooka) recently rebranded himself as Deepyoon while simultaneously releasing his first EP, titled “Uncanniness“, on Plazma Records. Drawing inspiration from the RAVE clubs of the late 90s, Deepyoon sought to express this era sonically. Using the Scream Tracker, a tool for creating PCM sample-based music, he produced tracks in various Trance and Drum ‘n’ Bass styles.

Deepyoon has a diverse musical background, having worked as a K-Pop producer, executive music director for the official opening ceremony of the 2010 Formula 1 Korean Grand Prix, video game composer, and media artist. He continues to release his own music, emphasizing artistic elements in genres like techno and dub techno, creating a deep and serious atmosphere.

His music bridges different fields, showcasing his ability to blend genres. Deepyoon is committed to exploring and proving the artistic value of electronic music to the broader art world.
