We’re inviting you to journey into the depths of minimal with Chris Corner’s latest release, “Hollow Earth“. This new EP on Plazma Music revives the raw, hypnotic essence of old-school minimal techno while infusing it with a fresh, dark twist.
Known for his masterful manipulation of sound patterns and drums, as well as deep, atmospheric soundscapes, Corner, with the help of Ektoplazma and Die Ferrey, delivers an EP that’s both a nod to the genre’s roots and a leap into reimagined auditory dimensions!
Concept of the EP
“Hollow Earth” explores the dark underbelly of minimal techno. Chris Corner draws inspiration from the idea of venturing into the mystical and unknown, both musically and thematically. The EP’s sound is characterized by its minimalistic approach, yet it’s infused with a compelling moody atmosphere that enhances its immersive quality. The distinctive drum patterns and deep basslines create a sense of vast, uncharted spaces, much like delving into the depths of a hollow earth.
