Last week, Mira Joo brought a bespoke experience to our Minimal Mondays Zurich series, delivering a set that blurred genre boundaries and immersed the crowd in a pulsing energy.

A Hungarian-born DJ and producer, Mira Joo has captivated audiences from Ibiza to Brazil, Iceland to Berlin. With a sound that’s both deep and unpredictable, she crafts an atmosphere that pulls you in, layer by layer.

A classically trained pianist turned vinyl collector, she fuses techno, dub, and bass into fluid, evolving sets. Her music is rich in texture, built on rolling grooves and deep, resonant basslines, always carrying a raw, organic feel.

Her talent hasn’t gone unnoticed—handpicked as the best DJ by Carl Cox, winner of the Uner Remix Challenge, and a finalist in the Burn Residency competition against 5,000 artists worldwide. She has held residencies at Privilege, Vista Club, and Ibiza Sonica Radio, cementing her place in the underground scene.

Beyond DJing, she’s a producer, designer, and co-founder of She Fire, an initiative amplifying female talent in electronic music. Her productions tell stories—full of contrast, emotion, and abstract visions, as heard in tracks like The Origin of Macondo on Be Massive Records.

Now you can relive the moments from her Minimal Mondays Zurich set. Tune in to this 1-hour cut from the event, and if you want more, check out the full recording on our YouTube channel. Stay tuned—more to come soon!
